Advertising Management for Moms Talk Radio Podcasts
If you are a new or existing podcaster on Moms Talk Radio, you can take advantage of the services of Easy Results with Radio in the roll of Advertising Manager.
What this means is that your show will receive representation to sell podcast advertising through outreach (articles & PR promoting podcast advertising) and marketing (will be starting advertising efforts in '08). I will work to find the right advertisers to fit your podcast.
What is involved?
Easy Results with Radio will search out advertisers individually and through marketing efforts that will fit your show's demographic. I will help clients in developing a sales message (commercial) that will enable them to communicate effectively with your shared target market to the best of my ability. I may only sell them advertitising, or they may choose a complete package that includes writing and commercial production. Whichever solution they choose, I will take care of the invoicing and forward you the payment less my commission of 20% and forward you the graphical button ads and audio commercial in mp3 format. You will add this to the broadcasts that were purchased or hand it to your producer to add to the broadcast. Once the placement is complete, you will let me know when in the broadcast it will air, so I can pass this on to the advertiser.
What are your qualifications?
I am a certified radio advisor with a background in promotions, marketing, writing and broadcast arts. I've been on both sides of the advertising fence as a small home based business owner and as an account executive for a traditional radio station. I currently maintain my position with the radio station XM105 along with other projects online. My commitment to clients is geared towards maximizing return on investment through applying best practices to each and every campaign.
How to qualify for Podcast Advertising Management:
Because I operate as a seperate entity from Moms Talk Radio, you are not automatically entered into the Advertising Management program. You have to meet and agree to the following terms in order to take advantage of this specialized service.
1. Your podcast must be an active member of Moms Talk Radio
If it is not, I cannot sell advertising for you. You will have to settle for the soon to be released products available to learn to sell your own podcast advertising effectively. Basic membership at Moms Talk Radio is only $20 per month, so it's well worth it to join just for the advertising management benefits alone in my opinion.
2. You must agree to the contract terms.
The terms are that you agree that Easy Results with Radio will be the only podcast advertising agency used for your podcast. You may sell advertising directly through your own efforts, but not contract advertising for your podcast through another third party. You agree to pay a 20% commission on all podcast sales made. You agree to update Easy Results with Radio on the listener statistics of your show as requested. Keeping in touch is vital to successful sales.
3. You must fill in the survey below to get started.
This survey is quite straightforward and should not take long to complete. It will enable me to add you to the online and print media kits and give me an idea of what your targets and goals are in terms of advertisers.

When can I expect results?
It is impossible to give a hard deadline for when you can expect to see results from your efforts because it depends on a variety of factors. One factor is the appeal of your target market to advertisers and how easy it is to quantify the expected results from advertising on your show. Sales is a relationship based activity and some advertisers are quick to make decisions while others need to be educated and convinced. This process can take a little time or a lot of time depending on the motivation and decision making process of the advertiser. While I do follow up with interested parties, I am not a pushy salesperson and believe in the inalienable right of business owners to make sound decisions for their own businesses. Because I am not aggressive in my techniques, it can take longer to land a client than any of us would like, but I've found the process to lead to longer campaign commitments and higher satisfaction amongst advertisers. I cannot provide a guarantee of results, particularly speedy results. I do however promise to represent your show to the best of my ability and will provide updates on efforts on behalf of you show upon request.
